Speedy Eats is a smart food and retail automation app that integrates with unattended vending systems like Cook & Hold Pizza Stations and Automated Grocery Dispensers. I developed this solution using Flutter and Firebase, focusing on delivering a frictionless user experience for ordering hot meals and grabbing groceries on the go.

The app features secure authentication, a smart cart system, order history, and real-time availability based on location. I also integrated Braintree for seamless, secure payments. The user interface is minimal and intuitive, ensuring anyone can order and check out within seconds. Real-time order tracking and offline access features were included for maximum reliability. By connecting users directly to smart machines, Speedy Eats makes self-service food and retail delivery quick, easy, and location-aware. The entire system was optimized for fast transactions and a smooth experience across various devices.

My approach

I began by mapping out the user flow from food discovery to checkout with a focus on speed and clarity. Since the app had to interact with smart vending devices, API integration and testing were done in live environments. I built a smart cart experience, implemented Braintree for secure payments, and added offline-ready features for vending sites with weak connectivity. Location-aware service visibility ensured users could always find the nearest machine. The final result was a quick, secure, and highly scalable self-service retail platform.
